TalesInInk has always been about stories etched deep beneath the surface, pure, unfiltered, and unforgettable. For our Second Issue, we bring together a raw and diverse cast of characters; people who don’t just wear stories, but live them.
On the covers: Murielle Henriette Victorine Scherre, Belgian designer and founder of La Fille d’O, known for redefining lingerie through honesty and inclusivity. Alongside her, Nishimoto — a cult figure shaped by Tokyo’s underground, moving between fashion, music, and street culture.
Inside: legendary hair stylist Pascal Van Loenhout, musician Tim De Gieter, bringing raw energy from the underground music scene, and Yusuke Onishi, a striking presence from Tokyo’s darker edges. Among many others.
We’ve translated collected narratives from skin to print using imagery, words, and graphic design. With this magazine, we aim to create something that endures, because good stories shouldn’t get lost in the scroll. They deserve to be remembered, like that first time an inked needle punctures the skin.
